Durgesh Kumar, also known as Bhushan from Panchayat, purchased his inaugural residence in Mumbai after enduring challenging times for years. The performer, who gained recognition through the TVF series, posted an image of the keys on his Instagram profile. Durgesh Kumar penned, “Aapna Ghar (My dwelling)…. Previously, in a conversation with Lallantop, Durgesh Kumar reminisced about his challenging days and disclosed he battled depression twice in 11 years. He also discussed how he is receiving more opportunities after Panchayat. Originating from Bihar’s Darbhanga, Durgesh Kumar conveyed to Lallantop, “You need to be prepared psychologically, physically, mentally, emotionally and economically to be an actor. I have suffered depression twice in 11 years. Unless you are not psychologically, economically and mentally healthy, please don’t come in the acting field. I am being brutally honest about it.”

Durgesh Kumar made his debut in films with Imtiaz Ali’s Highway. He also starred in movies like Sultan, Freaky Ali, Dhadak, janpath Kiss. Nevertheless, he gained fame through Panchayat.
