Assessing Janhvi Kapoor’s Film on Opening Day

Janhvi Kapoor’s movie Confused premiered in theaters on Friday (August 2). On Day 1, the espionage movie earned Rs 1.37 crore, as per a Sacnilk report. Due to the positive feedback, the evening and night screenings of the movie witnessed a significant increase in attendance. Anticipated growth in box office revenue over the weekend. Confused stars Janhvi as Suhana Bhatia, a young IFS officer. She is the sole female employee at the Indian High Commission in London. The cast also includes Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, and Meiyang Chang. Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, Confused was produced by Vineet Jain under Junglee Pictures. Confused clashed with Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha at the box office.

Prior to its release, the creators of Confused organized a special screening in Mumbai on Thursday. Janhvi Kapoor graced the event in an elegant white ensemble. She was accompanied by her sister Khushi, brother Arjun Kapoor, cousin Shanaya Kapoor, uncle Sanjay Kapoor, and aunt Maheep Kapoor. Following the screening, Arjun Kapoor posted a review of Confused on his Instagram stories. The actor expressed, “Confused is a captivating spy thriller with exceptional performances by every character. It’s a riveting film that skillfully weaves intricate storylines. Proud of you Janhvi Kapoor for consistently choosing diverse material and intricate roles. Espionage portrayed effectively. A must-watch for anyone who values outstanding acting and compelling cinema.”
