Result of Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s film on its first Monday

Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha experienced a decline in the box office numbers. The movie did not pass the important Monday examination. On the fourth day, the romantic film earned ₹1 crore, as per Sacnilk. The Neeraj Pandey directed film collected ₹ 2.75 crore on Sunday, day 3, at the local box office. As a result, the overall earnings of the movie amount to ₹ 7.75 crore, as mentioned in the report. Apart from Ajay Devgn and Tabu, Shantanu Maheshwari, Saiee Manjrekar and Jimmy Shergill are also part of the cast. The plot of the film revolves around the love story of Krishna (Ajay Devgn) and Vasudha (Tabu).

In a previous conversation with News18, director Neeraj Pandey explained why he opted not to use the de-aging technology for Ajay Devgn and Tabu to portray their younger selves. “We only used that technique when it was absolutely necessary for the storyline. Unfortunately, de-aging is now being excessively used to the point of technology misuse. In this particular narrative, it would be absurd to make Ajay and Tabu’s characters look 21 years old. It wouldn’t be believable,” he stated.

The director further added, “Right from the beginning, it was clear to us that we needed two different sets of actors to depict the two different age groups, as it aligns with the storyline and adds to its charm. People undergo changes after the age of 24. Our physical appearance changes.”

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha was co-produced by Narendra Hirawat, Shital Bhatia, Sangeeta Ahir, and Kumar Mangat Pathak under the production houses of Panorama Studios,  Friday Filmworks and NH Studioz.

Ajay Devgn and Tabu have previously acted together in movies like Golmaal Again, De De Pyaar De, Vijaypath, Haqeeqat, Vijaypath, Thakshak, Bholaa and the Drishyam series.
