During the occasion, Javed Akhtar praised Salman Khan and shared childhood anecdotes. Reflecting on the first visit to Salim Khan’s residence in Bandra, Javed Akhtar reminisced, “When I first visited Salim sir’s home, Salman was not even a year old. He appears so attractive now, but this isn’t a recent development. He was a beautiful child since childhood. There used to be a monochromatic portrait of Salman in Salim sir’s living area. It was a small frame. I’m unsure if it still exists. The other children were born in my presence.”

Javed Akhtar then mentioned that Salman was a reserved child. “What’s intriguing is that today Salman is the ‘He Man’, the ‘dashing hero,’ but back then, he was a quiet boy, very less talkative, a very introverted child. He would silently occupy a corner.” He then gestured towards Arbaaz, seated in the audience, and remarked, “Arbaaz was the mischievous child.
