The Governing Body of Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday disclosed the timetable for the highly anticipated TATA Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025. The third iteration of the world’s top women’s T20 league will take place in four locations – Baroda, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai – ensuring a celebration of exciting T20 action. The competition will commence on 14th February at the freshly constructed BCA Stadium in Baroda, where the Gujarat Giants (GG) will compete against defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in a thrilling season opener.

Baroda will stage a total of six matches before the action moves to Bengaluru, where RCB will have their first home game against the powerful Mumbai Indians (MI), victors of the initial WPL edition, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on 21st February.

RCB will have three more opportunities to delight their home supporters as they welcome UP Warriorz (UPW) on 24th February, GG on 27th February, and Delhi Capitals (DC) on 1st March. Intensifying the excitement, Lucknow will debut as a WPL venue this season, with UPW playing three matches at their home turf from 3rd March.

The final phase of the competition will take place in Mumbai, with the renowned Cricket Club of India (CCI) hosting the last two league matches and the two crucial Playoff games. Mumbai Indians will wrap up the league stage with consecutive home matches against GG and RCB on the 10th and 11th March respectively.

The battle for superiority will peak in the playoffs, with the top-ranked team securing a direct spot in the final. The second and third-placed teams will compete in what guarantees to be an exciting Eliminator on Thursday, 13th March, for a shot at competing in the grand finale. The ultimate clash for the coveted prize is set for Saturday, 15th March.

Maintaining the same structure as the prior season, all matches in the third edition will be single-headers.
