A video capturing the Su-57 taking off from Yelahanka went viral, showcasing the pilot’s impressive aerobatic maneuvers. The sight of both the American and Russian stealth fighters on the tarmac together drew attention as a rare occurrence that could only happen in India.
The flying display also includes the American B-1B Lancer, a supersonic strategic bomber, adding to the excitement of the air show. Spectators were thrilled to witness the F-35 taking off shortly after the Su-57, providing a unique experience of seeing both aircraft in action within a short span of time.
Scale Model of AMCA
For the first time, a 1:1 scale model of the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) is on display at the India Pavilion. Developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), the AMCA is set to be a single-seater, twin-engine fifth-generation fighter jet. The project to design and develop the AMCA was approved last year, with mass production expected to begin by 2035.
