The speculation, which originated from a report by the Daily Mail, suggested that the extravagant nuptials were set to take place on December 28 at Kevin Costner’s Dunbar Ranch and the upscale sushi restaurant Matsuhisa in Aspen.
The initial claims were quickly picked up by numerous media outlets, including a notable comment from fellow billionaire Bill Ackman, who referred to the inflated wedding budget as “not credible.” Ackman emphasized the absurdity of such a staggering figure by stating, “Unless you are buying each of your guests a house, you can’t spend this much money.”
