Online classes will proceed in the meanwhile, IIM Sambalpur director Prof Mahadeo Jaiswal stated.
“The institute will take a call on the resumption of physical classes relying on the circumstances and the federal government tips. Students might be returning in a phased method.
“A set of guidelines has been issued to all students, faculty members and staffers. Those who are facing internet and infrastructure issues at home are given priority to come,” he stated.
Students is not going to be allowed to go away the hostel premises apart from medical emergencies and have to endure COVID assessments as soon as the necessary quarantine interval is over, Jaiswal stated.
The authorities organized for oxygen cylinders, beds and different important services on the campus if any scholar falls sick, and a physician will go to the hostel frequently, the professor stated.
“Staying on the campus, meeting their friends and teachers will create a positive impact on their mental health. Our students also realise the need to normalise the situation and are enthusiastic about it,” he stated.
All those that enter the premises can have to put on face masks and use sanitiser, the official added.
