The ACG Jr. NBA Program Wraps Up with Exciting Finals
The ACG Jr. NBA program, a nationwide 3v3 tournament for top U-14 players across India, recently concluded with thrilling finals that showcased the immense talent and passion for basketball in the country. The tournament, which is also the largest school-based basketball program in India, saw All-Star Team Delhi emerging victorious in the boys’ category and All-Star Team Chennai claiming the girls’ title.
Boys’ and Girls’ Finals Results
In the boys’ final, All-Star Team Delhi displayed their skills and teamwork to defeat Maharana Pratap Inter College from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, with a score of 21-10. On the other hand, the girls’ final witnessed a close match between All-Star Team Chennai and Delhi Public School from Rajnandangaon, Chhattisgarh, with All-Star Team Chennai ultimately securing a 14-12 victory.
Recognition for Exceptional Performances
Apart from the winners, several other teams and individuals were recognized for their outstanding performances throughout the tournament. The ‘ACG Most Improved Team’ award was presented to Sardar Dastur Nosherwan Girls School in Pune, Maharashtra, and Nehru World School in Delhi for their remarkable growth and development. T. Sumithra Devi from All-Star Team Chennai and Tarun Yadav from All-Star Team Delhi were honored with the ‘Skechers MVP’ award for their exceptional contributions to their teams.
Standout Performers in Each Category
Rumi Konwar from Delhi Public School, Rajnandangaon, Chhattisgarh, stood out in the U-14 Girls category as the top scorer with 74 points and the most 3-pointers (11). In the U-14 Boys category, Tejas Kashyap from Maharana Pratap School, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, showcased his sharpshooting skills with 14 three-pointers, while Tarun Yadav from All-Star Team Delhi secured the top scorer title with 61 points.
Exciting Activities at the Finals
The five-day ACG Jr. NBA 3v3 National League Finals, held from February 6-10, 2025, at the Indira Gandhi Arena in New Delhi, featured a range of engaging activities for players and spectators alike. From the trophy reveal to free-throw contests and interactive challenges in the engagement zone, the event was filled with excitement and energy. Additionally, a referee clinic led by former NBA G League referee Greg Dandridge and a youth and coaches clinic conducted by Scott Flemming, Head Coach of the India men’s national basketball team, added value to the program.

The 2024-25 edition of the ACG Jr. NBA program was conducted in association with the Basketball Federation of India (BFI), with Skechers serving as the official kit partner.
