Gurugram Man Killed in Suspected Affair with Married Woman: Police

A 26-year-old chauffeur was fatally assaulted purportedly by an individual, who suspected him of engaging in a romantic relationship with his spouse, and his companions in the Pataudi locality in Gurugram, law enforcement officials mentioned on Monday.

One individual has been detained in the situation, they mentioned.

Pawan, a dweller of Jatoli village, departed from home on Saturday evening but did not return. Some individuals discovered him lying wounded in a channel on Sunday morning and promptly transported him to a medical facility, they mentioned.

As per a grievance filed by the deceased’s sibling, Rahul, he attempted to contact Pawan around 7.30 pm on Saturday but his mobile phone was powered off.

“On Sunday morning, I was informed that my sibling Pawan was accepted to a private clinic in Pataudi. When I arrived there, Pawan’s condition was severe and physicians referred him to a Gurugram clinic.

“Pawan informed me that Rajesh also known as Lambu, Ankit, Sangram, Mohan Halwai and two others cruelly attacked him and absconded after hurling him in a channel. Some individuals transported him to the clinic. In the Gurugram clinic, my sibling succumbed to his injuries during therapy,” the grievance affirmed.

Grounded on the grievance, an FIR was recorded against the six accused at Pataudi police station on Sunday. Rajesh, who suspected Pawan was engaging in a romantic relationship with his spouse, has been detained, police stated.

“The deceased was given to the victim’s family after examination. We are carrying out operations to detain the remaining accused,” a Gurugram Police spokesperson mentioned.
