Mahesh Babu Praises Dhanush’s Raayan Performance: “Don’t Miss It!”

Telugu celebrity Mahesh Babu on Tuesday praised Tamil actor Dhanush for his “excellent” performance and direction in the latest film Raayan. Also penned by Dhanush, the thriller about crime received a positive reception upon its release on Friday and is close to reaching the Rs 50 crore mark in earnings, according to estimates from the box office tracking website Sacnilk.
Mahesh Babu posted a short message on the microblogging platform X, lauding the cast and crew of Raayan, including music composer AR Rahman.
“#Raayan…. Exceptional performance by @dhanushkraja… expertly directed and executed. Outstanding acting by @iam_SJSuryah, @prakashraaj, @sundeepkishan, and the entire ensemble.
“An electrifying musical score by the master @arrahman. A must-see. Congratulations to the whole team! @sunpictures @officialdushara @varusarath5 @kalidas700 @Aparnabala2 @selvaraghavan,” he stated.
Dhanush expressed appreciation to the Telugu actor for his kind remarks.

On Monday, Dhanush thanked fans for their response to Raayan, which he described as the greatest birthday present ever.
The movie, also featuring S. J. Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, and Aparna Balamurali, premiered on June 26, two days before the 41st birthday of the actor who won a National Award.
“My heartfelt gratitude to the viewers, film industry, friends, press, media, and my loyal fans for showering me with all your blessings. This is truly the best birthday gift of all time. Om Namashivaaya!” Dhanush wrote in the X post.

Raayan also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Saravanan, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan in significant roles.
Dhanush’s next project is Arun Matheswaran’s Ilaiyaraaja, which is based on the life of the renowned music composer of the same name.
