In a shocking incident in Pune, a video of a BMW driver stepping out of his luxury sedan to urinate in public has gone viral. The accused, identified as Gaurav Ahuja, later posted a video apologizing for his actions before surrendering to the Pune Police.

The Incident

The video that surfaced recently showed Mr Ahuja stopping his BMW in the middle of the road and proceeding to urinate near a divider. Another man, later identified as Bhagyesh Oswal, was seen inside the car holding a beer bottle. Despite onlookers moving away in disgust, Mr Ahuja continued with his act and quickly drove away from the scene. It is suspected that the accused was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

Apology and Surrender

Realizing the gravity of his actions, Mr Ahuja posted a video apologizing for his behavior. In the video, he expressed remorse for his actions and stated that he would surrender to the authorities. He urged the public, the police department, and a certain “Shinde Saheb” to give him a chance and promised to turn himself in at the Yerwada police station within the next eight hours.

Legal Action

Following the incident, Mr Oswal was arrested late in the evening, while Mr Ahuja surrendered at a police station in Karad. Both individuals were subjected to a medical checkup to determine if they were intoxicated during the incident. The police have filed a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Motor Vehicles Act, citing charges of public nuisance, rash and negligent driving, and causing danger on public roads among others. Mr Ahuja is scheduled to appear in court later today.
