Man arrested after stabbing child and woman in London, according to police
LONDON — A girl aged 11 and a woman aged 34 were stabbed in Leicester Square in central London on Monday, police stated.
A male suspect has been apprehended and investigators “do not believe there are any outstanding suspects,” according to London’s Metropolitan Police Service
Both the girl and the woman were transported to a hospital, as per police reports, with their conditions remaining unknown.
The occurrence took place as the U.K. remains on alert following a week of turmoil where far-right demonstrators clashed with law enforcement. The disturbances happened throughout England and Wales and were instigated by far-right activists utilizing social media to disseminate false information.

These disturbances come in the aftermath of the fatalities of three girls, who were stabbed in a “savage” assault during a July 19 dance event in Southport, a coastal town, according to authorities.
A 17-year-old was apprehended and accused of homicide, as per law enforcement. The offender hailed from Banks, a coastal village in Lancashire, and was born in Cardiff, Wales, authorities mentioned.
The Crown Court unveiled the perpetrator’s identity following a judicial ruling that it could be disclosed despite his age. Despite being born in the United Kingdom, online speculations surfaced questioning his immigration status, as stated by law enforcement.
