Man Arrested for Pushing Girl in Front of Train After Proposal Rejection

The Rajasthan Police have apprehended a man for murdering a 15-year-old girl by shoving her in front of a train after she declined his companionship proposal on Friendship Day in Udaipur, authorities have stated.
The accused has been recognized as Shourveer Singh, offspring of Ram Singh.
Udaipur’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Yogesh Goyal mentioned that the father of the 15-year-old adolescent girl filed a missing report at Pratap Nagar Police Station in Udaipur on the night of August 2. The girl’s father asserted that his daughter, who departed for computer class, had not yet come back home. Consequently, an inquiry and exploration were initiated.
A police crew obtained intelligence that the corpse of a girl was positioned on a railway track. Upon receiving the information, the crew arrived at the scene. The girl’s relatives, who were also summoned for the verification of the girl, verified that she was their daughter.
The squad commenced an inquiry into the occurrence with the aid of intellect and technical assistance. The suspect, Shourveer Singh, was apprehended and during interrogation, the accused acknowledged the offense. Following that, the accused was detained, as per the police.
As per the police, the defendant during interrogation stated that “since the girl declined to befriend him, he enticed the girl and summoned her to the railway track, Debari, under the guise of a rendezvous. When the girl refused to befriend the perpetrator, he extinguished her life by shoving her in front of a train approaching on the track”.
