Man Insulted by Employer’s Son Seeks Revenge, Executes Rs 3.5 Crore Heist

On July 11, a dramatic incident unfolded when a cab driver, deeply offended by an alleged insult from his employer’s son, masterminded a grand heist at his workplace. Enraged and seeking revenge, he orchestrated a plan to rob the transport company where he worked, leading to a theft of Rs 3.5 crore in Delhi.

The mastermind, Upendra, knew the ins and outs of the cash flow at Bikaner Assam Transport’s office in Delhi’s Kishan Ganj area. Teaming up with Kailash Chauhan, a truck driver from the same company, they recruited a crew of 15 individuals to execute the heist.

As night fell on July 11, around 9:45 PM, the group stormed into the transport office, brandishing weapons. The robbers held the staff at gunpoint, seizing the Rs 3.5 crore before escaping in two cars.

Swift action by the Delhi police led to the apprehension of 12 suspects, with Rs 1.15 crore recovered so far. The police, using CCTV footage, managed to trace one of the getaway cars, leading to the capture of the accused. However, three suspects remain at large.

The gang comprised individuals from various parts of India, including Khajuraho and Bhind in Madhya Pradesh, Nainital in Uttarakhand, as well as Uttar Pradesh and Delhi, showcasing the wide net cast by the conspirators in this audacious crime.
