Manish Sisodia Breaks Silence After Jail Release
New Delhi:
AAP leader Manish Sisodia, who emerged from incarceration after 17 months, posted a photo with his spouse describing it as the “initial cup of tea on the dawn of liberty”. Mr. Sisodia was recently given bail by the Supreme Court in alleged graft cases related to the Delhi liquor policy.
Sharing the image on X (formerly Twitter), Mr. Sisodia stated, “First cup of tea on the dawn of liberty…..after 17 months! The autonomy that the Constitution has bestowed upon all of us Indians as a pledge of the right to life.”
“The liberty that God has granted us to inhale in the unrestricted atmosphere with everyone,” he appended.
pic.twitter.com/rPxmlI0SWF

The former Delhi deputy chief minister’s release on bail has provided a boost to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) before the legislative elections in Haryana – anticipated in the next few months – and Delhi, set to take place early next year.
Party officials asserted that his liberation is a setback to the “objective” to tarnish AAP’s reputation.
Mr. Sisodia was apprehended by the CBI on February 26, 2023, and by the Enforcement Directorate less than a fortnight later. He has now been granted bail in both lawsuits, with an incensed Supreme Court declaring that he cannot remain incarcerated indefinitely while the prosecution progresses towards an uncertain trial date.
