One person killed, two injured when man crashes into strip club after altercation

A single man lost his life and two other males sustained injuries when a man rammed his semi-truck into a adult entertainment venue after being ousted from the establishment following a dispute with multiple customers, authorities revealed.

The event transpired around 4:19 a.m. on Tuesday morning when law enforcement officers responded to reports of a vehicle that had smashed through the entrance of Emperors Gentlemen’s Club at 5718 E. Adamo Drive in Tampa, Florida, as per a statement from the City of Tampa.

“Upon arrival, law enforcement found the truck had collided into the frontal area of the structure that leads to the entrance,” city authorities stated in their release. “Observers recounted that the operator had recently been ejected from the club and then came back to steer the truck into a group of individuals standing at the entrance.”

An adult male perished in the crash and two other adult males were harmed but are predicted to recover from their injuries, according to the City of Tampa.

The operator was apprehended and is presently hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

“This is an incredibly tragic and entirely preventable occurrence,” stated Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw. “We will strive to obtain justice for the victims and their families. We are considering all those affected including the innocent bystanders who observed this dreadful ordeal.”
