Pentagon Report Calls for Boosted Arctic Defense to Counter China and Russia

A recent Pentagon strategy report is urging significant enhancements in Arctic defense amid growing concerns over China and Russia’s activities in the region. Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks has emphasized the urgent need to invest in advanced sensors, communication systems, and space technologies as climate change and increased adversary presence heighten security risks.
