The victim, who was forced to beg on the roadside to support her alcoholic father and younger brother, was lured by one of the accused, an auto-rickshaw driver, under the guise of helping her find her missing brother. Once in his room, the driver and his accomplice raped her repeatedly, threatening her with dire consequences if she spoke out.
Additionally, the survivor’s neighbor took advantage of her vulnerability by raping her after offering food and tea. The situation took a darker turn when a woman arrived at the girl’s house, claiming that one of the accused had summoned her. Subsequently, the survivor was drugged and coerced into undergoing an abortion, which led to a deterioration in her health.

Upon receiving the complaint, an FIR was registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
