However, what astounded Mr. Sharma even more was the response of their customer service representative when he lodged a complaint. The YouTuber had requested a Tea with jaggery but was mistakenly provided without the sweetener. His interaction with Zomato’s customer service, which exhibited the chat executive’s sincere effort to address a seemingly minor issue, went viral after he shared the screenshot on X with the comment, “Zomato received affectionate chat support”.
“Sir..! I urge you to consume the tea..! I can commence the reimbursement for the jaggery,” read the Zomato customer service representative’s reply. Throughout the conversation, the executive maintained a formal demeanor. However, when the YouTuber mentioned that he could not consume the tea without jaggery, the executive’s reply took an empathetic twist. “I understand the morning feeling and without tea, it leaves us in a state of disarray,” he wrote. “Please sir..! Just for today I implore you to have the tea! I don’t want you to experience this,” the executive added.
