Post Bigg Boss: Vada Pav Star Chandrika Dixit Receives Warm Welcome at Food Shop

Chandrika Dixit, widely known as the “Vada Pav Girl” from Delhi, has returned to her enterprise after her eviction from the Bigg Boss OTT house. She also posted a video from day one at her stall following her stint on the reality show. The Instagram video reveals a substantial crowd outside Chandrika’s food stall. She is seen greeting fans and taking selfies with them. The crowd appears very delighted to meet her and savor the delicious vada pav. “First time at the shop after Big Boss,” she mentioned in a caption.

Chandrika Dixit gained instant fame after a video of her selling vada pav in the Sainik Vihar area of Delhi went viral. In the footage, she discussed her journey as a working woman and shared that she had to quit her previous job at Haldiram’s due to her son’s dengue diagnosis.

During her time in the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house, Chandrika Dixit frequently made headlines. From intense confrontations to food complaints, she kept viewers hooked. Post-eviction, Chandrika reflected on her brief period on the show. She told the Indian Express, “My image was transformed, people only saw one side of me and assumed I was always fighting. But no one understood the reasons behind my actions; no one saw my affectionate and caring nature. Poulomi told me that the world should see my true self. Sai Ketan Rao and Ranvir Shorey’s perceptions of me changed, making me feel like a winner. I never pretended to be someone else on the show.”
