Realty Firm CEO Sanjeev Jain Arrested Following High-Speed Chase

Sanjeev Jain, the Chief Executive Officer of Parsvnath Landmark Developers, a branch of Parsvnath Developers, was apprehended on Saturday following a 60 km pursuit. The Delhi Police Special Task Force (STF) caught Jain at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport in relation to a case lodged by Rajat Babbar.

He evaded when authorities arrived at his residence to detain him, resulting in the high-speed chase.

The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission released five warrants against Jain, including four that are not bailable, for his failure to attend before it.

1. Sanjeev Kumar Jain resides in Gurugram, particularly in the upscale DLF Phase 2 region. He finished his education at Jain Khekra Inter College in Khekra, Uttar Pradesh.

2. He possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Pune, where he specialized in advanced construction technology.

3. Sanjeev Jain has been affiliated with Parsvnath Developers Private Limited for 32 years. He has more than two decades of involvement in the real estate sector and supervises the company’s architectural, construction, and procurement divisions.

4. Jain was designated as the Managing Director of Parsvnath Developers in February 2002 and under his direction, the corporation has broadened its footprint to 37 cities and 13 states throughout India. Parsvnath Developers was founded in 1984.

5. Sanjeev Jain was apprehended on August 3, 2024, by the STF team of Shahdara at the IGI airport in Delhi. The apprehension was made in connection with non-bailable warrants against him for his absence before the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.
