Suspect in Virginia Trump campaign office burglary captured in released photo by officials
Officials are in search of a man related to a break-in at the Trump for President 2024 campaign office in Ashburn, Virginia, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office revealed on Monday.
Deputies from the sheriff’s office were notified about the burglary around 9:00 p.m. ET, but the individual had fled before authorities arrived at the scene.
Officials shared surveillance footage depicting the suspect — a grown male — dressed in dark attire, a dark cap, and carrying a backpack.
The inquiry is still ongoing and the sheriff’s office did not specify if anything was stolen or left at the location.
“It is uncommon to have the headquarters of any political campaign or party broken into,” Sheriff Mike Chapman stated in a press release. “We are committed to identifying the suspect, investigating the reason behind it, and determining what might have been taken or left behind.”

The campaign office, which is rented, also acts as the main office of the Virginia 10th District Republican Committee, according to officials.
