Jeff Hardy Reflects on Career Choices: Could He Have Outshined John Cena?
In a recent interview with WFAA TV in Dallas, wrestling legend Jeff Hardy sparked intriguing discussions about his career trajectory and his thoughts on potentially surpassing John Cena in popularity and success. Reflecting on his life choices, Hardy expressed a belief that, had he made different decisions in his 20s and 30s, he might have achieved a level of fame even greater than that of Cena.
When asked whether he envisioned himself as an active competitor 30 years into his career, Hardy responded with optimism. “Man, I don’t know, probably,” he said. “The way I was living life in my 20s and 30s, and if I was living life the way I’m living life now, oh my gosh, there’s no telling. I would probably be bigger than John Cena today.”
Hardy, known for his charismatic wrestling style and dedication to the craft, acknowledged the innate talent that has fueled his journey. “I was born with such a gift to be a pro wrestler. It just felt so natural, like I was totally created to do this thing,” he stated.
Despite the challenges he faced in his career, Hardy is optimistic about his future. He mentioned practices that contribute to his well-being, such as taking ice baths, which he and his brother Matt Hardy have found beneficial for both mental and physical health. “I still have life, and I feel good,” he added, emphasizing his desire to continue wrestling as long as he can.
Hardy’s comments have sparked a conversation among fans and analysts alike: Could his career path have taken a different turn?
