In April, iQoo launched the Z9 Turbo in China, featuring the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Now, the Vivo sub-brand is gearing up to introduce another addition to the Z-series lineup: the iQoo Z9 Turbo+. Although the official launch date hasn’t been announced, recent leaks from China provide insight into the launch timeline and key specifications of the new device. According to these leaks, the iQoo Z9 Turbo+ will boast a 1.5K resolution display and be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset.

Leaked Specifications for iQoo Z9 Turbo+

Tipster Digital Chat Station shared details about the iQoo Z9 Turbo+ on Weibo, indicating that the phone might be unveiled in September or October. However, it still awaits approval from Chinese certification authorities. The device is expected to feature a flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. The model number associated with this device is V2417A.

While the battery capacity remains undisclosed, Digital Chat Station suggests that the iQoo Z9 Turbo+ will come with a battery incorporating “large silicon cells.” For reference, the iQoo Z9 Turbo is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery and supports 80W wired charging.

Pricing and Additional Specifications

The iQoo Z9 Turbo+ is anticipated to be positioned alongside the iQoo Z9 Turbo in the market. The iQoo Z9 Turbo was launched with a starting price of CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 23,000) for the 12GB+256GB variant, while the top-end 16GB+512GB model is priced at CNY 2,599 (around Rs. 29,000).

The iQoo Z9 Turbo features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
