Leaked Images Show Redmi Turbo 4 Design; Expected to Launch Early 2025 with Dimensity 8400 Chip
The Redmi Turbo 4 is rumored to be in development as the next version of the Redmi Turbo 3. Xiaomi hasn’t officially announced the Redmi Turbo 4 yet, but leaks have revealed details about its design, features, and launch timeline. It’s expected to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chip and might be sold globally as the Poco F7. Initially, the Redmi Turbo 4 was thought to launch in China in December.
A user on Weibo, called Things About Technology (translated), now claims the phone will launch in China in January 2025 instead of December 2024 (as reported by 91Mobiles). The MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chip powering the phone is set to launch in China on December 23.
Meanwhile, another tipster, Digital Chat Station, says a different phone, possibly the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, might launch in April 2025. This phone is rumored to have a Snapdragon 8s Elite chip, a 7,000mAh battery, and a display with 1.5K resolution.
Redmi Turbo 4 Design Leaked in Renders
Leaked images shared by Weibo users Smart Pikachu and Tech Sailor Popeye (translated) show the Redmi Turbo 4 with slim, symmetrical bezels and a hole-punch display. It also features two rear cameras arranged vertically, similar to its predecessor.
The Redmi Turbo 3, powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, was launched in China in April this year but hasn’t been released globally. Instead, it was rebranded as the Poco F6 for international markets. Xiaomi is expected to follow the same strategy, launching the Redmi Turbo 4 as the Poco F7 in global markets.
