Introducing E42’s Newest Venture: Marketplace for AI Hiring

New Delhi: E42, an Indian AI bot platform, renowned for its development of sophisticated no-code AI bots, has unveiled an innovative marketplace. This marketplace is designed to facilitate businesses in recruiting AI solutions tailored to their needs. Clients of E42 can now showcase their AI bots on this platform, enabling other businesses to license or employ them for their own operations.

Animesh Samuel, the co-founder and CEO of E42, explained to Mint that the platform’s AI bots, termed as “AI workers,” transcend traditional chatbots. While chatbots primarily streamline customer inquiries across websites, E42’s AI workers are adept at handling more intricate tasks. These tasks range from automating workflows in human resources and accounts departments to conducting data analysis as an analyst.

With approximately 20 clients, including prominent names like Tata Consultancy Services, Hindalco, and Mahindra & Mahindra, E42’s clients can now offer APIs of their developed bots through the newly launched marketplace. This allows third-party companies to engage these AI solutions for a fee, thus negating the necessity for smaller enterprises to develop and deploy their own bots, especially when data resources are limited.

The emergence of E42’s marketplace echoes similar initiatives in India and abroad. Automation Anywhere, an American software firm, operates a comparable AI bot store featuring automation packages from industry leaders such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft, and Google.

Beyond India, major tech players like Amazon and Microsoft have established their own AI automation marketplaces, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace and Azure Marketplace, respectively, offering a plethora of click-to-deploy tools for businesses.

Addressing concerns about AI “workers” displacing human jobs, Samuel draws a parallel to the era of personal computers, which revolutionized tasks like manual bookkeeping. While certain roles may become obsolete, he believes this transition will empower individuals to take on more advanced responsibilities, thereby enhancing their skillsets.
