The OnePlus Pad 2 is slated for a global launch on July 16 during the OnePlus Summer Launch Event in Milan, Italy. This tablet will debut alongside other new products, including the OnePlus Nord 4, Watch 2R, and Nord Buds 3 Pro. The OnePlus Pad 2 is expected to be the successor to the OnePlus Pad, which was introduced in February 2023. The global version is rumored to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Pad Pro, released in China in June this year. A tipster has shared leaked specifications and suggested an upcoming launch in India.

Expected Features of the OnePlus Pad 2

According to a post on X by tipster Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24), the OnePlus Pad 2 is expected to feature a 12.1-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 3,000 x 2,120 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 900 nits. The display is also rumored to support Dolby Vision.

The OnePlus Pad 2 is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It may come in two RAM and storage configurations: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. Additionally, the tablet is expected to feature six speakers for an enhanced audio experience.

Battery life is another highlight, with the OnePlus Pad 2 rumored to have a 9,500mAh battery supporting 67W wired SuperVOOC charging. For photography, the tablet is expected to have a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.

Launch Details

According to a community post, the OnePlus Pad 2 will be unveiled at the OnePlus Summer Launch Event in Milan, Italy, on July 16, along with the OnePlus Nord 4, Watch 2R, and Nord Buds 3 Pro.

The tipster also indicated that the OnePlus Pad 2 would launch in India. The company is expected to introduce accessories such as the OnePlus Stylo 2 stylus, a Smart Keyboard, and a Folio Case to accompany the tablet.
