Unveiling Aparajitha Ayodhya: Kangana Ranaut’s Directorial Journey into Divine Narratives

In a surprising move, Kangana Ranaut steps into the director’s chair for her upcoming project, Aparajitha Ayodhya, describing it as an exploration of divine narratives.

A departure from her previous ventures, Kangana Ranaut’s latest endeavor, Aparajitha Ayodhya, delves into the intricate complexities of the Babri Masjid case.

Following her directorial debut with Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Kangana Ranaut assumes dual roles as both director and producer for Aparajitha Ayodhya, a cinematic exploration of the Babri Masjid-Ram Mandir conflict.

Reflecting on the genesis of the project, Kangana reveals, “Initially, directing wasn’t part of the plan. I envisioned it as a collaborative effort, with me producing and another director at the helm. However, upon delving into KV Vijayendra Prasad’s script, I was drawn to its grandeur and scope, reminiscent of my previous historical projects. With encouragement from my collaborators, I embraced the directorial role.”

Addressing the challenges of directing, Kangana shares, “Contrary to popular belief, I don’t feel daunted by the responsibility. It’s liberating to shape a project from its inception, free from the constraints of adhering to another’s vision. When you’re aligned with the narrative from the outset, clarity naturally follows.”

Describing Aparajitha Ayodhya, Kangana emphasizes its thematic essence, stating, “At its core, the film embodies themes of love, faith, and unity, transcending mere controversy to embrace the divine essence of storytelling.” Additionally, she hints at relinquishing her on-screen presence to fully immerse herself in the directorial process.

Penned by the acclaimed writer KV Vijayendra Prasad, renowned for his work on Baahubali, the collaboration marks a reunion between Kangana Ranaut and the creative force behind Manikarnika.
