“System of a Down & Deftones to Illuminate Golden Gate Park’s Premiere Nocturnal Concert”

Golden Gate Park is gearing up for an electrifying event as System of a Down and Deftones prepare to headline the park’s inaugural nighttime concert. Promoted by Another Planet Entertainment and Live Nation, this groundbreaking spectacle will also showcase captivating performances by The Mars Volta, Viagra Boys, and VOWWS.

Scheduled for August 17th at the Polo Field, attendees will immerse themselves in a rock extravaganza under the celestial canopy amidst the park’s lush greenery. Notably, this marks System of a Down’s sole performance this year beyond their exclusive Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas.

Having hosted daytime concerts since 1967, Golden Gate Park has witnessed the legendary performances of iconic artists like Grateful Dead, Pearl Jam, Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Neil Young over its illustrious 55-year history.

General admission tickets for this event will commence at $169, with VIP packages available starting at $399. The artist presale kicks off Wednesday at 10 a.m. PT, followed by Another Planet Entertainment’s presale on Thursday at 10 a.m. PT.
