In the Shadows of Betrayal: Unraveling the Sravani Kondapalli Tragedy
Amidst the convoluted twists of fate, the spotlight of suspicion now shines upon RX 100 producer Ashok Reddy Gummakonda, labeled as one of the principal perpetrators in the tragic saga of Sravani Kondapalli’s demise, according to the Hyderabad Police.
Navigating through a labyrinth of uncertainties, the Hyderabad Police have finally singled out the prime suspect in the distressing case of TV luminary Sravani Kondapalli’s untimely demise. On the eve of Monday, the law enforcement unveiled the identities of the trio implicated in the saga, featuring TikTok luminary Devaraj Reddy, Sai Kumar Reddy, and the noteworthy figure of RX 100 producer Ashok Reddy Gummakonda. With the filing of an FIR against the trio on Tuesday, both Devaraj and Sai Kumar found themselves in the grip of custody. However, Ashok Reddy, despite receiving summons, has chosen the path of evasion, as reported by the Hyderabad Police.
In a statement addressed to the press corps, DCP Srinivas remarked, “The association between Sravani and Sai Kumar Reddy dates back to 2015, fostering a bond that endured for three years. In 2017, she crossed paths with Ashok Reddy, the creative force behind Premato Karthik, in which she played a modest role. Their acquaintance blossomed thereafter. Subsequently, in 2019, Devaraj Reddy entered the picture. Alas, Sai Kumar’s disapproval of Sravani’s proximity to Devaraj prompted familial intervention, culminating in relentless persecution aimed at severing their connection. Ashok Reddy too bears culpability in this web of deceit. At a juncture, all three protagonists professed intentions of matrimonial commitment to Sravani, only to renege on their promises. Our apprehension of these individuals is founded on audio recordings wherein Sravani articulates enduring physical torment inflicted by her kin, Ashok Reddy, and Sai. Regrettably, her resolve faltered, leading to the ultimate tragedy.”
On the fateful day of September 8, the lifeless form of the 26-year-old thespian was discovered at her residence in Madhura Nagar, the specter of suicide hanging heavily in the air. The family’s accusatory finger pointed squarely at her former paramour, Devaraj Reddy, holding him culpable for subjecting her to torment and thus propelling her towards this irreversible decision. However, Devaraj Reddy swiftly refuted these allegations, contending that Sai and Sravani’s own kin were the architects of her misery. Evidential audio snippets have since emerged, purportedly capturing exchanges between the trio of accused individuals and Sravani, wherein she vocalizes the anguish driving her towards the precipice of self-destruction.
