Chris Christie Warns Against Michael Flynn’s Influence in White House Meeting

In a recent appearance on The Situation Room With Wolf Blitzer, former New Jersey governor Chris Christie expressed strong disapproval regarding President Trump’s reported discussion about martial law and election overturning during a White House meeting. Christie particularly singled out Michael Flynn, Trump’s former national security adviser, and his lawyer Sidney Powell, who allegedly attended the meeting advocating for martial law.

Christie emphasized, “Michael Flynn should never have a place in the White House, especially not within the confines of the Oval Office, alongside his advocate Sidney Powell.”

Having voiced concerns about Flynn for years, Christie reiterated his stance on Sunday, highlighting the dangers he perceives Flynn poses. He recalled sharing security briefings with Flynn during Trump’s candidacy and presidency, asserting Flynn’s unsuitability for offering counsel.

Trump refuted claims of discussing martial law, dismissing them as “Fake News” on Twitter. Christie, however, advised the president to distance himself from Flynn and Powell to prevent similar controversies in the future.

“My advice to the president is simple: Keep Michael Flynn and Sidney Powell away from the Oval Office. By doing so, we can prevent these detrimental ideas from gaining traction within the administration,” Christie concluded.
