Nothing Sub-Brand Introduces CMF Neckband Pro and CMF Buds in India: Pricing and Features

In the latest unveiling on Tuesday, March 5, the Nothing sub-brand introduced CMF Neckband Pro and CMF Buds, marking their entry into the Indian and global markets. The event, spearheaded by Co-Founder and CEO Carl Pei in New Delhi, showcased these two wearable gadgets. The Neckband Pro boasts a 50dB hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), while the CMF Buds offer 42dB ANC support. Additionally, the event saw the launch of the Nothing Phone 2a, the third smartphone by the brand.

Pricing and availability of CMF Neckband Pro and CMF Buds in India:

The CMF Neckband Pro is priced at Rs. 1,999, whereas the CMF Buds, alongside the CMF Buds Pro, can be acquired for Rs. 2,499. These audio offerings will be accessible in Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Orange hues.

An introductory pricing scheme is also in place for the initial sales of both products. The CMF Buds will hit the market on March 8 at noon, with an exclusive offer of Rs. 2,299 for a limited period. Conversely, the Neckband Pro will debut on March 11 at noon, featuring an introductory price of Rs. 1,799. Consumers can purchase these items through Flipkart, Myntra, Croma, and Vijay Sales. Moreover, an exclusive limited release will take place on Myntra on March 6 at noon, prior to the official sales date.

Specifications of CMF Neckband Pro:

Equipped with a 13.6mm dynamic driver unit, the CMF Neckband Pro incorporates the brand’s Ultra Bass technology 2.0. This neckband boasts 50dB hybrid ANC, complete with a transparency mode and five microphones featuring Clear Voice Technology. Furthermore, it holds an IP55 rating for resistance against dust and splashes.

The Neckband Pro allows users to control volume, playback, track skipping, and ANC modes through triple-tap gestures. Alternatively, the Nothing X app provides similar functionalities along with equalizer customization. Powered by a 220mAh battery, the CMF Neckband Pro guarantees 37 hours of continuous playback. With fast charging support, a mere 10-minute charge is claimed to provide 18 hours of usage with ANC deactivated.

Specifications of CMF Buds:

Featuring 12.4mm dynamic drivers, the CMF Buds are truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones also equipped with Ultra Bass technology 2.0. These earbuds deliver ANC at a depth of 42dB and feature a transparency mode. Additionally, they are furnished with four HD microphones for enhanced call quality. The CMF Buds hold an IP54 rating for resistance against dust and splashes. Each bud contains a 45mAh battery, while the charging case houses a 460mAh battery. According to the company, users can enjoy eight hours of uninterrupted listening on a single charge, or up to 35.5 hours including the case. With fast charging capability, a 10-minute charge purportedly yields 6.5 hours of usage.

Regarding connectivity, both wearables support Bluetooth 5.3 and dual-device pairing. They are compatible with Android 5.1 and higher, as well as iOS 13 and higher, while also supporting Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair.
